My daughter loved the map provided in this theme! We used it for practicing directions, following routes/lines, and even counting! There were so many lessons from that map, not to mention the other fun things in this theme! (My daughter loved the s’mores 8nspiration so much, we got her a pretend campfire so that she could continue the ‘camp’ theme beyond summer.

Camp theme is a perfect example of how much there is to learn in day to day life. We loved this theme so much, and as a family who camps in real life it was really cool to see how my son’s knowledge and abilities were enhanced by the activities in this theme, and the connections he made to our camping trips. We will be revisiting Camp theme this summer!

We had so much fun using elements of this theme as we prepared for our summer and fall camping trips. We even took some of the activities with us and did them during down time, like using the map and comparing it to the map of our actual campground, and reading the history of camping around the campfire.

Funny enough, I really was not into this since we are no campers. But, it all turned out so differently since I felt there are so many more aspects to camping Aubrey came up in this package than I ever thought of and so this topic ended up inspiring us for more than a months and until today my daughter wants to build tents for her Schleich animals.
